About
How We Make An Impact On Organizations
We are a team of experienced implementers and continuous improvement coaches.
Many executives typically find that it's hard or even impossible to have sustained growth being able to deliver to customer expectations. This stems from the following 6 reasons:
1) Unreliable equipment – overall equipment effectiveness is a big struggle – the equipment is unreliable, which is leading to huge downtime, and results in poor delivery performance.
2) Limited resources – we all hear that we don’t have enough people, or we don’t have the right people. This leads to not being able to execute to plan.
3) Poor Flow – to be able to have stability in the operation – a necessary condition is to have proper flow from raw material to finished goods. Having the wrong priorities and as a result a lot of WIP significantly hampers the ability to have short lead times.
4) Communication issues – we are all familiar with hundreds of emails, and who has the time to really check them? Bad communication is a contributor to poor decision making which results in bad customer service.
5) Long changeovers – changeovers from job to top job seems to take forever, which can create even more undesirable effects of large batching practices. These results furthermore extended lead time, built more WIP, and even poorer delivery performance.
6) High yield – that is also a big struggle for manufacturers – having to release more raw material just to produce what is required. This increases costs and floods the system with not needed overruns.
Does any of these sound familiar? Is this the culture you have in your organization? If that’s your state, do you think your team is motivated to get your organization to the next level?
While it seems extremely frustrating to take care of all these problems and get you to the next level – it should not. If you have the right support – these problems can be fixed, and they can be done quickly.
You can hire a professional with a hands-on approach that can help your team focus and achieve stability in your operation.
